Powder Coating of Components for the Outdoor Recreation Industry

RayPaul Coating has been leading the industry in providing custom powder coating services specializing in top quality finishes, and excellent customer service.

The powder coating of various components, from small parts to roll-over protection systems used in the outdoor recreation industry, is the project highlighted here. After parts are hung on RayPaul Coating's largest automatic line, they go through a five-stage wash to clean and prepare the part substrate, then into the dry-off oven to remove all moisture from the parts. Advanced automatic and manual equipment, housed in a state-of-the-art powder booth, is used to apply the powder. Parts are then cured at 400°F.

Quality control is maintained by a three stage part inspection on all components from start to finish. Additionally, parts undergo full coverage check, mil thickness check, pencil hardness test, and crosshatch test to verify curing and adhesion, to ensure coating quality.

RayPaul Coating's trained staff also performs product consolidation, kitting, warehousing, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) services to customer specifications.

This project represents runs from small to large, with turnovers of 24-72 hours.
